This work encompasses several topics all stemming from growth and maturity. Some are personalized, others are based on concepts we face every day. Overall, I looked to share some experiences and concepts that hopefully either helped or entertained you; or maybe both. Some of these concepts are:

God, and how indescribably perfect he is. How everything comes full circle in our lives, we just may not be able to see at the current time. Also, how his love for us is unconditional and undying!

Growth and development, and how we all mature at different paces. The most emphasized point is that it’s ok to be different. Just because your perspective is different doesn’t make it wrong! You are valued exactly how you are and there is greatness in not conforming. Be different!

Love, and how confusing and tricky it can be. I used to think you loved someone if you dreamed of escaping the world with them; just the two of you. I’m starting to see now that you love someone when you want to stay and face the world head on with them!

You! Be lit, be spontaneous, be quiet, be smart, be corny, be whatever comes natural to you! A talent is a purpose unfulfilled, so we are obligated to use them!

Down here it gets hard to manage sometimes.

I panic sometimes.

I even act outlandish sometimes.

But that's because no one appreciates my vulnerability yet.

Not even me,

I even see,

That I want to cry at times,

To cover up what's inside at times.

I miss you, but my dreams tell me to smile.

The richness of your blood runs through my veins.

Your life lessons are forever engraved in my brain.

The love that you shared,

I've always retained.

I've lost so many things,

But lately I have regained...God.

I know that you would say,

"He's the main thing, and even if you fail always maintain,

And Evan, keep your Bible, that's your mainframe."

You'd say you love me,

And I'd tell you the same thing.

But this seed that you watered in me is growing now.

It's showing how,

I have a purpose, so I'm not slowing down.

I love you dearly, selfishly.

I miss you.

I sure hope you're proud of me, and everything I've been through.

I know you're smiling down.

I walked into blessings I never meant to.

I won't question God for taking you,

I'm just so thankful that he sent you.

You landed on a dream, Mayflower

A planted Queen, May flower.

The tears that stream, may shower.

To pay your fees, late hours.

Your future sees, great power.

A changing world...

You sure took the 90's for granted.

You were really young back then, but all those moments were candid.

All of your music holds nostalgia, these days the meaning has vanished.

But you stay hungry for a purpose, in a famine you're famished.

Now the land is outlandish.

There's budget cuts, but no bandage.

And you know God wills still manage.

But you hope God is still planning,

A miracle.

But you are one, a star sun, a moon too,

He groomed you.
